Biometric identification methods have historically been developed for forensic purposes, and for these purposes, their use has yielded acceptable results.
However, attempts to use forensic methods for digital economy systems have been much less successful. The reason is that forensic equipment is developed as trusted, in compliance with the requirements of information protection, and smartphones of users of digital economy systems can not be trusted under any conditions, which creates the possibility of interference in the process of third parties.
Thus, there is a contradiction associated with the need for trusted identification on untrusted devices, and the lack of scientific knowledge in this area.
To resolve this contradiction, a hypothesis was formulated about the possibility of using eye movement characteristics for identification, which are biometric characteristics and contain reflex elements. To ensure the security of information interaction and protection from malicious influences, an interactive procedure was proposed that allows the process to be divided into trusted and uncontrolled parts while maintaining security as a whole.
The performed research confirms the possibility of using modern identification methods based on interactive reflex biometrics in the information systems of the digital economy.

Information processing methods in ergatic robotic systems

List of authors:
Meshcheryakov, R. V. – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, V. A. Trapeznikov Institute of Control Sciences.

Annotation:
The report provides an overview of various methods and technologies for processing information received from sensors for robotic systems control. The issues of information integration for a robot when solving SLAM problems, navigation, and the priority tasks choice are considered; methods and algorithms for the man-robots interaction when using neuro-, myo-, oculos-interfaces, as well as information exchange using voice and gestures are distinguished. Information processing tasks are extended to cloud and fog computing. Examples are presented in various fields and application environments and conclusions are drawn about the technologies prospects used and the boundary conditions for the operation of one robot or group.

Annotation:
For today, the problem of developing new devices in the optical domain is relevant in connection with the transition to communication systems of 5G/6G standards,. Fiber-optic communication systems are already transmitting information at a speed of several terabits per second. Also, there are atmospheric communication stations that transmit information at a speed of tens and hundreds of gigabits per second. Most of the elements of such systems have been developed and applied in practice. The main factor affecting the speed of these systems is the electrical or magnetic control of the photonic devices. In this regard, the development of controlled optical devices of high speed is one of the most important directions in the development of photonic communication systems. New devices should exclude the use of nonlinear optical effects and low-frequency control circuits.
The paper describes, first of all, the main directions of developing the element base in the optical domain.
Also it is considered the new controlled elements of optical communication systems developed by the authors. The ones include the all-optical switch, the smart optical antenna, the optical double-way duplex isolator, etc. The authors describe the operation principle of these devices, the mathematical models for their investigation, and determine the perspectives for their use in photonic communication systems.

Internet of Light: System Design and Applications

List of authors:
Jintao Wang – Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University.

Annotation:
Intelligent lighting has attracted lots of the interests as human has spent more and more time indoor. Semiconductor-based illumination network is an ideal bearer to carry on this mission. By introducing the information and communication technologies to the illumination networks, the architecture of Internet of Light (IoL) is designed. IoL can provide many value-added services such as indoor positioning, high-speed information transmission, and vehicle to roadside communication. IoL can also combine the visible light communication (VLC) with the powerline communication (PLC) and/or wireless communications (i.e., 5G) to support the intercommunication of all the related devices.

Multi-beam Antennas for New Applications

List of authors:
Kaloshin V.A – Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Kotel’nikov Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics.

Annotation:
In the last decade, there has been a great deal of activity in the development of multi-beam antenna systems. Use of multi-beam antenna systems in mobile communication systems multiplies the radio frequency resource, which allows serving a large number of subscribers simultaneously. At the same time, multi-beam antenna systems allow optimal use of the information capacity of the communication system, depending on the current traffic in the working area of each beam. As a result, a low cost of transmitting a unit of information and optimal (corresponding to current traffic) use of the communication system resource in the service area is achieved. The use of multi-beam antennas in panoramic radiometers can improve the sensitivity and resolution of the system. The trends in the development of multi-beam antenna systems for new applications including multi-beam antennas with hybrid beam forming and ultra-wide band multi-beam antennas are analyzed.
